First shipment of the new Protech Flyfather Balisong arrived this morning.

The production version now features an integral latch stop to keep the blade from hitting. It works like this: There is a groove milled in the handle part way around the pivot of the latch. A small pin set in the latch rides the groove, stopping at the end, keeping the latch from hitting the blade. Protech really did a great job on this project and we are pleased to be carrying it!
