    I have adopted

A wonderful cat, she is pregnant. Her name is Precious, now I do not have to come home to an empty house. The kittens are about due talked to a vet today, asked what I needed to do. Took his advice.

She is a Calico, Scott said they are the most loving of cats. When the time is right, I will take the kittens to a home and they will go out to well deserving homes.

Scott was right they are the most loving of felines, as you will soon find out. The kittens will surely keep you amused!

Congrats, Kelp, a furry kid around the house does a nice job of keeping your home precisely that.

I miss my pups, but I'll have another soon enough....

Pics will come in time, she is pregnant and probably not too far from giving birth, have made a nesting box. She loved on me tonight, could not get her to eat or drink so pretended to put food in the bowl, she still would not touch the water bowl, so I for once had a brainwave put water in the bowl with her food, she was so thirsty. Hungry too.
We played she even turned over and showed me her belly, so she must trust me. I walked away after we played for over an hour.
    She needed her rest.

At least I am not alone anymore. Know Scott would have approved.

Kitty has turned the corner, used her litter box finally, took patience and kindness to get her there, she made it on her own sometime during the night.

Her babies are nearly here. She is resting now would not come out this morning. I am so excited, praying all goes well for her.

When my father passed away my mother found comfort in her two cats. Animals have away of knowing when we need attention, or just that connection to another living being. A pets love for their human is unconditional.

    All the best to you,

I came home from work today with momma cat looking somewhat thinner, she has had her babies. One orange tabby plus two black and whites. She is doing very well and let me see the babies while she ate her dinner. Hope the tabby is female though or I have to get both fixed. I feel bad taking the kitties away from her, know what it is to feel loss and sure animals are the same.

Sounds like she was someones cat that got lost or was abandoned because if she was a feral cat she wouldn't want you around at all, her playing with you and letting you pet her along with letting you see the babies shows that she trust you.
Sounds like you will have a lot of fun soon with 3 kitties running wild, enjoy them while they are young.
I know its not long but you should keep them till they are at least 8 weeks old before letting them go to new homes.

I have been feeding all the cats outside for months, petting on them loving on them. Decided to keep the orange tabby. I know what loss feels like.

Yes, a pet can get you through the toughest of times. This is all great news Kelper. If there is a male in the litter, would you consider keeping him and calling him Scott or SugarSkull? No matter what... Casper & I are wishing you well.

So you plan on keeping the Tabby as a indoor cat and finding homes for mom and the two siblings? Start trying to find homes for them now so you don't have to keep them any longer than needed.

This morning Momma Cat was looking at Scott's photo the big one, can cats actually see?

He did pet her a lot and loved on her, the kitties have not yet opened their eyes but momma is doing a wonderful job. Seems to know when I am troubled she comes up here to see me as she did last night I stroked on her till I finally fell asleep.

I have no regrets about bringing her in kitties inside her and all. One day hope her and "Sugar" the little orange tabby will huddle up with me in bed. Momma has stopped climbing in my prescence at least. Cat's should not be on the kitchen sink or worktops IMO.
