So whose going to design this yrs knife? I'm lost...

Crazy thought here, but since we've done a bunch of folders, to include a couple autos and now considering a bali, why not a fixed blade - get with Mike S and have a JD fixed blade done - something simple like a Mini North Star with a Red/ Black G10 handle, and either a close-ride leather sheath or a kydex rig, or the option of both?

First, it would be a hell of a lot more affordable than a Protech bali and I for one would like to see more DevLz be able to get into the game with this.

Second, it would actually be a useable knife, not just because of the price-point, but also because of the functionality of the knife.

Since we're discussing making it special....why not make it 3v and it could even get hard chromed or one of the ti-ain type coatings on it (low friction and anti-corrosive)

Just thoughts of course, DevLz, but toss it around a little....I have little use for autos as they are not legal to carry here, and a spike-bladed bali is less than useful as well.

If we want to go Pro-Tech....there is the Spin Drift and the Brend Companion, but why not mix it up a little and go with a simple workaholic fixed blade, offered with both polished or matte handles?

bali not really my piece off cake,
and even more illegal than auto's over here, so would be a diy kit , ship in loose parts kinda thing

but anyways i'm up for one, what ever it will be
and figure out the details later

The design has already been in the works for some time. There is no redesign/new ideas to be had. For now, this is it.

And as an aside , Mike and the BRKT crew are booked for around two years.
A special run from them will require long range planning and execution.........neither of which are my strong points.
