    Help for my teen son

Tonight my son looked at me and asked who is Richard Pryor? I was shocked and all I could say was "do you know who Dave Chappelle is?" And he replied yes I do. And then I tole him that Pryor made him look like an amateur.

Rudy Ray Moore and Red Fox laid the foundation, and Pryor lit the fuse on the rocket....

Have him watch some old videos, he will learn.

Kinda like the kid that asked if I had seen 21 Jump Street the movie, I asked if he liked the tv show and just got a blank stare, 33 and I'm already old, shit, god damn youngsters!

Love me some Prior. Many a day dad and I would listen to his tapes and just laugh and laugh. Good stuff.

I just had to dig out some cd's. It was like the time I found a copy of Monty Python and the Holy Grail, they loved it. They think that old is not funny but I'm having to expose them to real comedy.

    So Sorry,

but it's not him but you. The other day my 13 year old niece was eating a peanut butter & banana sandwich. She's a runner/gymnast and like 80 pounds and can eat such things.
Anyway I said "Your eating an Elvis sandwich" & her response was a kind of blank stare and the question "who's Elvis?". Least you think my niece is dumb, she's a straight A student and president of her class.

    Time marches on.

My favorite joke of his is the one about his wife trying to leave and take the car.

"Then I put my magnum down, because the police were coming and they had magnums too!"

I need to go back and watch his stand up.

Holy shit make your kid watch the movies he was in with Gene Wilder! They have to be my favorite comedic duo.

Let's not forget his brilliance in co-writing on Blazing Saddles.
Pryor was a genius , and I agree that Redd Foxx laid the foundation.
    Probably others too.
Chappelle is another guy who is just a natural.
    But not knowing Elvis ???????

    Tribute knives anyone ?

I am giving some thought to doing a couple knives for Jerry and Scott.........a way to honor their memories and raise some jack for the families.
My gut tells me do one for each ........ a bali for Bird and probably a fixed blade for Scott.
have them engraved / etched with an appropriate sentiment and raffled to get the benefit part of the program done.
Flyfather bali and Bravo 1 are my inclinations at this point , but I am certainly open to suggestion.
If there are any other ideas that any of you think hold merit , post em up fuckers.
This has been written and shall be done.
