A simple little lightweight thing today. I never expected to like this design as much as I do though:

I've been debating on getting one for awhile now. You like it?

Nope, I LOVE it. I'm really surprised about that as well.

I was talking to A.G. Russell himself about the knife. And he said that it was their most populair design ever. Now I understand why.

The bladeshape is extremely functional and no-nonsens. (There's also a clip point blade but I prefer this one)

It's VERY light weight. (Half the time I forget it's in my pocket) and very easy to open AND CLOSE with one hand.

At the moment I have the AUS8A version. Once my bankaccount recovers from my recent spending spree I'll be getting the VG-10 version.

I'm still kicking myself for not getting his ZDP of Cowry damascus versions when they were available.

When I wake up I think I will carry my microtech socom delta serrated in cts 204p.

I damn near cut halfway down my thumb with it a few days ago. Painful reminder why not to cut towards myself.

Keep'em sharp, but be careful devils.

    Sweet little thing!
I had an early AGR around the mid 90's with the clip point blade.
    Wish I kept it.
I now have a custom Crawford with that top lock style.
Many argue who invented or at least brought back this style first, Crawford or A.G. Russell.
I should get the AGR version too, since it's a lot less than the custom and much lighter with the plastic handle.

    PS.
today i wanted to go light and smaller, so I carried a BladeTech Tim Wegner Pro Hunter Junior.
