IF he did indeed carry a compact gun, its not so strange.

I wonder how many carry a full sized gun or even a medium gun capable of firing a decent caliber i.e. .45ACP in that climate.

The idea of carrying anything other than a pocket gun for EDC pales qickly for the average gun owner in those temperatures.

but did you notice how the article just had to mention he already had a permit to carry, so his action is OK?
how many other states can we easily get permits?

I know they tend to be more open minded with the elderly, so they dont serve in prison and die there.
So I guess i'll have to wait till i'm old and just be passive till then.

Being from "those temperatures" I carry a sig ultra compact 45 or a ruger sr9c with crimson trace. But then again you said "average gun owner" LOL And all I wear is t shirts and shorts. Just gotta find yourself the right holsters for down here, cuz yes the wrong one will make you feel the heat a little more and leave you with a nice sweaty spot on your hip LOL

He DID stop them, he stopped them from doing what they were doing. I think it worked out just perfectly.

Personally, I wouldn't have cared if he killed them but he's better off this way I'm sure.
