Stainless chef knife 9 1/2" blade. Beautiful!

Heres on I just finished up for my brother from another mother, Dave!!

Its a ATS34 stainless steel Chefs knife 9 1/2 inch blade. RC 60/61
Red wood burl handles. Brass pins and a single mosaic with brass copper and stainless combination!

    Enough talk heres the goods!

    The money shot!

The Handle!! Beautiful material, I have never used this wood, The seller calls it red logwood. Its from South america and is very dense and naturally oily like cocobolo or ironwood. So it should be a perfect handle for a kitchen knife!

Spine shot and choil shot. Full blended grinds with rounded spine and choil.

And the rest of the images! This is a 9 1/2 inch blade

Im not use to taking pictures of SHINNY stuff. But these show off the handle and blade pretty good! I hope he likes it!

Thanks for looking, as always, comments and critiques welcomed!

This Beautiful material, Is something I have never used until now on a knife. The seller calls it red logwood. Its from South america and is very dense and naturally oily like cocobolo or ironwood. So it should be a perfect handle for a kitchen knife! I did apply a few coats of ren wax to the entire knife, blade and handle. But it really is very stable wood and didnt need to be "pro" stabilized.

    Thanks!

    That's a great looking knife,

...and at that hardness, it should be a real performer.

I'd love to give one a whirl in kitchen stadium.
