My draw for the fixed blade (i'm in the same idea than the balisong with the double point and edge)
I find the idea coooool to kill zombis and demon
For the detail, i'm thinking about 115w8 steel or niolox, and probably g10 and micarta for the handle. (red and black, bolster in a color and the other part in the other).
I don't know if i will have the time to make the two project but that is my aim

As i'm a player i make a fixed blade too that year.
I didn't know if i would have the time (my son will come soon), but i have a bit of time in the workshop that week. I will try to make all the work before the end of the week end.
Day One : 3 hours of work.
I inked the niolox. (3,2 mm thick) and draw the blade. As my oven is small, i will make a half full tang
The band saw is my friend.
I filed the end of the tang to have clean and round part.
I drilled the tang
The edge choil is done with the dremel, and all the line are staighten with the grinder.
I cleaned
I draw on a black G10 sheet the futur handle false piece.
After some cut.
I cut two piece of G10, black and orange. I scratch with a 60 belt grit
I epoxied the two piece together
My grind wise is ok, i flattened all the side of the blade.
grit 60

The two pieces are epoxied
After to have cut in two scale the sheet, i try to see the futur result
4,2 holes
The hole are done
A first build with screw
After some grind work of the handle

D2 3 hours of work and 1h of tempering
Second edge grind

Some hand rubbing

The hardening foil
Ready to the oven
That is the right temperature during 25 mn
Two big bloc of aluminium for the hardening
The foil open, you can see a kiridashi i did during the increase of temperature of the oven
I cleaned a bit
Tempering 2 x 30 mn to 200°c
After tempering.
That's coming along nicely mate. Looks very pointy and forked, like the Devils tongue
Devil Tongue. That is perfect, you have find the name of the two knives
I cleaned everything
I draw my logo
I cut the logo
With a salted solution and AC/DC power supplyer i etched the blade.
That is etched
After a buffer shot
I cut the brass pins and put everything in place
Everything is pinned and epoxied
Some 40mm wheel hit in order to see the result
I will have to go a bit deep on the side (3mm to go through the black G10. I will maybe drill some hole between the pins and to countersink in order too see the orange appear

Day 4 3 hours of work
I shaped the handle with a 60 grit belt.
I clean everything with a 400 grit paddle
That is clean
Sharpening
After some buffer work.
With the original draw.
The Devil Tongue
30 cm long : 16 cm sharp for the main edge : 7 cm for the real second edge
3 mm Niolox blade 1040°c during 25mn, 200°c tempering during 30mn 2 time.
Half tang , g10 black and orange.
Do you think i should toxify the handle in order to see more orange?
