This piece is going to take a tour in beautiful South America..... can't wait for pix.
A good gent asked me to make a variation of a "Bagwell-style" Bowie to take on a (business... LOL) trip. The blade is 10" of Gas-rig Cable Damascus (alot of that going on in Pa now). The S-guard with "clam shell tips is carbon steel with my "antiqued" finish. The handle is an Amber Stag crown with a 3-piece throat/spacers of laminate damascus sandwiched between two fullered pieces of carbon steel with an antiqued finish. The handle is set with a blued, peened carbon steel pin. The whole thing is almost 16".
Not too bad for a born and bred Jersey boy, huh?
