Where did the last 50 years go and how do I get them back???

So i woke up this morning and unlike any other morning
i've ever woke up to,today,i turned 50..

18250 days gone by,while sitting on this blue spinning ball.

Seems like only yesterday,i was finger bangin' chicks in the backseat
of my uncles broken down 49 Mercury coupe and diggin' things

like Frisbees and watching a relitively unknown band play at our local beach club,called Aerosmith,where my older sisters' boyfriend,a bouncer

there,would sneak me and my other underaged friends into,for $3.00 a ticket,including 1 free beer..

When did some of our countrys' neighborhoods become homegrown war zones?

Why does it cost so much to simply survive in this day and age??

How did i get all these scars and why do i have so many prescriptions?

What are all these noises eminating from my body,all day long??

I can go on and on,but i'm sure some of you,get my point..

Right behind ya, AJD1... only 5, oops, 4, more quick months to go...
i realized this year: i'm exactly halfway between 18 & 80... This is a Sad 'thot.'
18: The first year of legal adult life;
80, well, by 80, y'know you're 'old' then, & don't get offended when people say it;
But halfway? As close to 80 as we are to 18? Ack!
We're just trying to plateau, stay ON the hill, and not roll over it, to the "other side" to fully 'over the hill.'
May your plateau stretch to the horizon.
