Thread: Todd Begg Bodega

    Thumbs up Todd Begg Bodega

I am truly impressed by the build quality of my Bodega, one of the nicest midtechs I have ever handled. I think it is a stunning design, too.

The over-travel stop is also a pretty neat solution, it is made possible by the fact that the lockbar is separate from the rest of the frame.

Nice to see some new stuff from Todd. The separate lockbar and frame setup in interesting and could have some benefits. Aesthetically I'm not crazy about how that necessitates five screws in 2/3rds of the handle but his work looks great as per usual.

If you don't mind my asking can you tell me what's midtech'd on it?

It is all CNCed, including the blade.
I know that Todd made a few custom protos of the Bodega with hand-ground blades but I have never seen one. Also, I don't know whether those had CNCed frames or not.

Nice looking mid tech! I would hardly have known it was mid tech unless you had filled in the details.

Very custom looking blade. I'm also not crazy about so many screws but it looks evolutionary compared to the MIGs. The design is very interesting. Cool grab Lorenzo.
A king may move a man, a father may claim a son, but that man can also move himself, and only then does that man truly begin his own game. Remember that howsoever you are played or by whom, your soul is in your keeping alone, even though those who presume to play you be kings or men of power. When you stand before God, you cannot say, "But I was told by others to do thus," or that virtue was not convenient at the time. This will not suffice.

That's a good looking knife............but with all those holes in it, I can't help thinking I'd be washing it all the time to get the stuff out.
    Still looks good though.

The Bodega folder has one of the nicest blade geometry and blade grind I've seen on a folder. Todd hit a home run on this one.

    Cheers.

Ever since I saw these on YouTube in the Blaze Orange G10 I've really really wanted to get my hands on one. You're a lucky guy. I cannot find hide nor hair of any for sale.
