You can make anything you want, balisong, axe, bowie, sword, dagger, shiv the choice is yours. As regards the raffling of your entry afterwards that is at your discretion.

As someone who has not taken part in a build off I would be interested to know what it entails?
I would be keen to create something lost from saxon nightmare and dredged screaming into the present.......
however I am not sure about then auctioning it off (well to be truthful I am pretty sure about that one!).
so if its a motivational show and tell from hell .....I'm in.

Hi Owen,

Welcome aboard. The rules are fairly simple. Build whatever you want that has a blade and have it ready by Halloween. Start a thread for your entry here and update when you can. When you are finished I'll put you entry in the nearest category it fits in. Usually there's folders, small, medium and large fixed blades.

There'll be a winner for each category and then an overall winner.

As for the raffle it is up to you if you want to raffle it off, sell it, give it away, keep it or do whatever you want with it.

well Im in then , it'll defiantly be large-ish......most probably fixed unless you are counting dimensional realties in which case all bets are off.....

For those already signed up, it's never too late to start your own thread here, get the ball rolling. If past Build Offs are anything to go by the earlier the start the more chance of you finishing on time

I'm headed to Colorado for a week long vacation, but I brought all of my French curves and shit with me so I can start drawing up ideas for my entry!! Once I finalize my idea, I'll start my WIP.
