My Brother wanted me to make him a knife for a Christmas gift. I finished a bit early. Now the question is should I give it to him now in person when he is in town, or mail it to him at Christmas? He lives out of state.
Give knife now while in town
Wait till christmas and mail it
Keep knife for self and give him another gift card for Christmas

That's a great looking blade!
I'd give it to him now so you can see the surprise on his face.
Great gift!

I agree - Give it to him in person. Such a beautiful knife.
I agree with what GEEZER said!![]()
It’s taken 9 different dogs and 65 long years to makeme the gentle, patient, mellow man that I am today.Don’t be fuckin’with me and piss me the fuck off!
Christmas isn't very near yet. It would be nice to give it to him now, but it'd be quite a strech calling it a Christmas gift. You may end up having to just giving it to him now just to be cool, then you still have to gift him for the holidays six months from now.
How are you gonna talk to me? Your knife isn't even sharp.
One gives gift to make people he/she likes happy not just because it's Christmas, birthday or whatever time you 'should' give something... So I say give it to him whenever you feel like and the best is to give in person I guess...
Nice knife man, I bet he's going to love it.
Give it to him in person while he is in town.

I'm curious as to the knife design. Is it a left hander or is the picture reversed? Does the "button" lift the backspring? It sure is a looker.
Thanks for the advise. I gave it to him yesterday, I think it will be something he will always cherish. Being there to see him open it is worth having to buy the annual gift card when Christmas rolls around
Yes it is a lefty. Basic lockback design instead of pushing down on the back to release, you pull up on the front.ILK
That handle material looks hawt! Me being a lefty, I'd be super stoked to get a fine custom like that as a gift.
Very nice knife. I'd prolly wait for Xmas if it was to be an Xmas present, but that's just me. Certainly wouldn't want it lost in the mail though..
