My 51, it's the only bali that flip I have since my 62 is too heavy and my other bali's arent full size.

    I have a lot...

My favorite custom knives (I call 29's mid-techs) are Chuck G's. I haven't bought another one simply because I wouldn't ever NEED another one!

BM62 feels great as well, just tops in production knife F&F

T-latch BM42 is my favorite between all the 4x pattern balisongs. So light and thinner handles are better for me.

29's are actually my most flipped knives. They're just comically fun to flip around due to the size and weight. They're well balanced and you can actually surprisingly do quite well with one of these. I gotta send it to Silent Jay to prove it.

At the end of the day, the BEST flipper is the AB. Not really any way to improve the handling. Maybe round the handles more, but thats preference and I don't know too much shit about building flippers anyway.

    1. Alpha Beast (second batch with hardened pivots and bullnose chevrons)
    2. Benchmade 42 (newer blade with the spine notch)
    3. Spyderfly (vg-10 version)

Two of these came to my hands by virtue of the JDBA♥.

Big thanks to the Ron and the mods and the OGs that keep things moving!
How are you gonna talk to me? Your knife isn't even sharp.

That 00 is something else. I don't know what Matt did but the handling was the best among all the ABs.

Yeah the spyderfly is definitely up there for me too.

My balisong collecting exists only because of the JDBA. Almost 80% of my bali slinging is on here. Big ups to Ron as well.

AB - Most well balanced knife I own. It's a GREAT flipper.

43/Frankenstein 42s - What I mean by this is... I have a 42s T-latch and a 42 springer. I switched blades from one to the other and now they both flip better than they did before. The 42s Springer is better by far, but the lighter (plain 42) blade and the t-latch handles are very nice too. It's kind of a tossup between the 42s (Frankie Stein) and the 43. The 42s might win out by a hair... but definitely for aerials it wins.

Matt Cook Double Edge - I recently got this in a trade and I LOVE IT!! SUPER smooth, long handles and great balance. The only issue is that it's a DE. I'm learning though. It's fun as hell.

40t(-r) - I probably flip this the most because it's on my hip all day. I flip it at work or anytime I'm not at home. I'm most used to this bali for sure.

Then throw in all the others... AA, Spydie, 51, 259s, Twist, B200, etc... cause I FLIP THEM ALL!!! BUT, each of these I have minor issues with. Whether it be that it's too thin, fat, heavy, light, whatever... but I flip them all.

    1. Alpha Beast or Ti Basilisk
    2. Alpha Beast or Ti Basilisk
    3. BM42

Honorable mention - Microtech Tachyon. If I had a used and abused Tachyon it would replace my BM42.

Gotta go with the 42 by far for now.

Seems like that may change as I start to build a decent collection though.

Alpha Mutant - F'ing awesome to flip yet ever since I got it back from being restored it bites or stabs me ever time. Thirsty knife.

BM43 w/spring latch - spa treated by Pinoy. Though I had a 42 I enjoyed flipping just as much but the bowie profile is my favorite....I think.

Chuck G #58 - a little small but smooth and silky to flip. Once my name comes up on his list I'll probably go for the same style (bowie) just a tad bigger.

These threads always make me jealous of everyone

#1 42. I like the weight and balance on it, I just wish it was a little smoother. I would prob help if I got PB washers put on it.

#51 This was my first high quality knife. I just wish the handles were a little longer and it had some more weight at the end. I have been flipping it more than my 42 recently.
