Sorry for your troubles. I hate it when I'm promised something and NOTHING is delivered or responded to. Find another Maker to spend your money and cut your losses.

I guess now is the time to order my retirement knife.

    I'm 43 tuesday, so that leaves 20+yrs...

What do you think Frisky? Doable?

I had a compass, but without a map, it's just a cool toy to show you where oceans and ice are.

If Will Moon wouldn't peruse JerzeeDevil in "Invisible Mode" like he has been since last Fall,

maybe we'd see how often he's checking on this Thread.

No way in hell that he hasn't been on in 3 days......I don't care what the story may be.
RIP Jerry "DaBird" Lameka 1957-2012. Rest peacefully, buddy. We'll never forget you.

He's in hiding I'm guessing... either that or he's "sick" or "has a huge test"

To give an example, when I ordered my first Martin knife Ed took the time to talk with me and get to know me. I can say with 100% sincerity that Ed is a very close and valued friend of mine. I trust him completely and without reservation, not just because of his stellar track record but because I know him. If I am in the market for a custom blade, Ed is the first person I go to. Every time.
Just my worthless two cents worth.

I completely agree - I think if the maker makes quality product, he does not need to advertise it, because people will do it. So he can instead focus on communication with customers. If you're spending hundreds of $, the least you would expect is that your questions would be answered (I want to stress I don't aim this to FD since I had no dealings with him, I mean it in general).

As for FD, I like some of his grinds, but sadly the only one talking about how great the knives were was the maker himself... On the other hand I bought the Alpha Beast even though I didn't like very much how it looked (in the beginning), but there were so many positive videos and comments (and not much praising from the maker or -=BRS=- themselves) not only on the AB, but also on Matt Cook's work and communication in general, that I didn't hesitate to use the opportunity and buy it.

Just my thoughts as a customer. I like to be satisfied not only by the product but in way also with the process of buying itself...

For somebody that is blunt and throws his criticism at real makers work , you all have seen his review post, he talked like he walked on water which made me look at his work which is IMHO no way near any real maker and the prices are ridiculous , no wonder the false tower is fallen, I truly hope you learn from this and eat plenty of humble pie as those with successful business know and have eating it to become who they are today, long is the way to the top and if you get there is because you build a foundation solid with true principles not by bullshitting yourself.

BHQ is a member here at the JD, correct? Interesting that the new dealers so often bet on the wrong horse.....it will come back to bite him in the ass if this is the case. Eventually, a client will get a bad knife, BHQ will be in the middle as that fucktard Dingo will stick his head in the sand again. T

I just looked and yep, he has five or six of those abortions for sale there. I realize that Les Robertson is not everyone's favorite purveyor around here, BUT.....he's not selling any Brous Blades and he's not selling any Will Moon Fucktard Specials either. Longevity does give folks a perspective that the short-timers, no matter how many "custom" makers they may have on the website, just do NOT have.

Anyone have any idea WHO is "cryo-tuning" the Will Moon blades and what that warranty is really worth? I can certainly answer the second based solely out of the information in this thread.

Rio, I could NOT have said that any more eloquently. As always, you're a completely class act.

You have to be fucking kidding me man

I wonder if Will answers BladeHQ's emails in a timely manner? This is too bad for sure. Maybe BladeHQ deserves the benefit of the doubt here??? They don't know what they're getting into here and what they're going to be stuck with when Will Moon doesn't return customer emails concerning QC or warranty work...I don't want to lose trust in BladeHQ as they're always a great reliable source for most anything we all need...But is BladeHQ going to guarantee these knives on their buck??? And is the quality of the Orions they have on their site up to the standards that we all expect from a knife? I don't know about you guys, but this worries me...

BladeHQ, can you guys chime in here???

    Back to the thread topic...
If you're selling something to someone, whether it's a product or a service, customer service should be the most important aspect...Mr. Moon may or may not be a nice guy or even a decent knife maker but he most definitely has some growing up to do if he's going to be involved with any kind of successful business. You can't ignore or put off a customer's needs, period. If you make a promise, deliver that promise...If you take an order, fill that order on time with a quality product...If you can't do these things then maybe it's time to find another line of work...

    There's my $.02

You have an Orion correct? I remember you being very excited about it while it was being made but I guess I missed any news about yours when you got it? You did get it right? As far as I know, you were the only person that got one on the JDBA right?
