    Smile American Chestnut Bowie Reduced

    Hi Everyone,

Up for sale is a Bowie I recently finished, specs are as follows:

7 3/4" blade forged from 1/4" thick 1075 bar stock, edge quenched and hand rubbed to 1500 grit, then finished with 600 grit pull stokes.

handle is 300 plus year old American Chestnut recovered from my buddies old farm house built over 200 years ago. It had been removed from the house and stored in the barn for over 60 years. It has beautiful grain that terminates with end grain with stunning "copper like" rays at the butt.

The four piece guard is nickel silver with carved spacers.

    O.A.L. is right at 13"

Comes with a hand stitched sheath by my father-in-law Paul Wittle and a padded zippered case.

Price is $600.00 $500.00 $450.00 plus $15.00 insured shipping anywhere in the lower 48

    Thanks,

    Bobby,

    Hershey, PA
