I always loved the #2 folder even back when he didn't bother with making handles. First saw it an auto version.

I had a Brend / Woodard for a while in the late 90's. Wish I hadn't sold it, been trying to hunt one down, but probably wont be able to afford it if I do. When the economy was better someone was asking over 1K on the bay.
These all had hand ground blades and Woodard at White Wolf Knives (W/K) made the simple aluminum handles.

I currently have 2 Cutters / Brend #2 D/As (Cutters Knife and Tool) from around 2003. But neither is a hand ground blade. It was only offered on the first 20 if I remember right.
The handles are all titanium framelocks - the first BREND #2's offered in D/A ti framelocks!
I believe Vallotton was offering a converted D/A CRK Sebbenza at the time. It was the only other D/A framelock offered.

Maybe I should just buy a current offering, now that he makes the handles in house finally.
Any idea on price and are the "productions" still hand ground by him? I'm asking since I've seen the term "BREND FAMILY" on some knives.
I'm sure his titanium handles are way more, but since I'm more into a handground blade, I would settle for an aluminum handle.
And since I'll NEVER carry it I'd prefer an auto.
But I noticed the handle shapes are different than the older #2's with a finger groove, and he added a ramp on the blade.
Does he offer anything in the exact old style?
Is there a site or something with current info?

    Wow those are amazing!

I especially like the one with the rattle snake inlays.

That sounds great!! The whole hand ground thing just adds to the cost. I'm aiming to beat the hell out of it, not look at it.
