Arizona is one of the better states to live in if you love guns for sure Sometimes they just fall in hands

I ended up picking up a 8" Python also on my way home Monday night, it will be headed out to my buddy Dr Rick for safe keeping

Man, a couple of beauties there. Other than an Agent I owned back in the 80s I have never had a Colt revolver. What I would REALLY like is a New Service target in 45LC. Somehow I doubt my finances will ever fully align with my desires.

Rick, IL is a pain in the ass, BUT it's also not so hard to learn the workarounds. Like travel to AZ, stay overnight and as such under AZ law, you are considered a resident. Go to the flea market, find your gold. Cash and carry.

Or have good friends to horse trade with

The other problem is if you go the internet route, like gun broker or even fellow devils, it still needs to be FFLed here.
Not a big deal right? WRONG!
Most remaining gun stores out here charge a huge fee (about $150, NOT including DROS) to "borrow their FFL" like Turner's Outdoorsman.
As if a vintage Python wouldn't cost me enough.
So I cant just see something i like online and have it sent to them.
You'd have to be connected (buddies) with an independent store, for them to OK it.
I guess if you're getting guns online and having them sent to your state, you should know your neighborhood gunstore.
Good luck with that if it's a chain.
I use to be connected, but no more.
I understand them getting or charging something, but at that service price, its only worth it if you're buying something at $1,500+ (so consider it a additional 10% fee).

The most insulting thing is that here in Cali we're still allowed to technically have/get guns compared to NJ or NY. But they make in VERY difficult with little BS laws and $$$ that get worse and worse over time.
Since an outright ban like other states would be openly fascist, they prefer to do a bit at a time.
When I see whats available now as compared to pre 2000 its disgusting.
Ex. I cant get those little .22 Berettas anymore since they're smaller than some BS box that decides whats safe to sell in California. What a crock.

Nice to know if I ever visit AZ.

Any other states like that? Utah?

There are a few GOOD local gun shops down here but NOT a lot. I deal with the same guys quite frequently so i usually get a pretty good homie hook up
