    Hatcher Wharncliffe/Karambit Hybrid

These two represent many "firsts" for me . . . first bolstered scales, first radiused scales, first etched finish.

    Specs:

    -1/4" O1 steel
    -8" OAL
    -4" blade
-Flat ground with very slight curve to the edges
    -Etched/Tumbled finish
-G10 scales - one has black w/ OD bolsters and coyote liners, the other has coyote w/black/green bolsters and OD liners

    Thanks for looking!

Very nice, I like the look of these very much. How do they feel in hand?

I'm sure my progress has nothing to do with the 42.7 questions I ask you every week!!

They actually feel really nice. These were part of my first batch of karambits, and I fully expected there to be revisions needed. But they came out so well, I don't think I'll be changing much on the next batch. These were made with 1/4" stock, which I like, but I'll likely make the next batch out of thinner stock.

Here's a comparison shot. Emerson CQC-7, Hatcher Karambit, Olexey FOS, Hatcher Karambit, Spyderco Manix.

    Damn!

Those are sick! I WANT ONE!

I think they are perfect as far as thickness, my only suggestion would be to thin the scales a bit or texturize them a bit. But that is just a preference.

Dang, now there's a knife I can really dig! I am not much for the traditional Karambit shape, but that looks like it could make an excellent general-use knife as well as a defensive tool. A slightly smaller version would make an excellent EDC, I think.

I've never seen that Wharncliffe / 'Bit combination before, but I think I like it!
