Does Charlie Ochs (OX ENT.) still repair black knives?

I got one recently and it has some side/side up/down movement.
My smallest allen wrench wont fit the small hole to adjust the lockup.
I wouldn't mind sending it in to get tuned up.
I had one in the early 90's, it said OX ENT. BLK 98 and it locked up solid. This one is a 2003. Its mint other than the movement and it has a plain blade which i like better. My old one had serrations.

I paid 250 and am OK with the price, and since they're so hard to come by, I'm considering keeping it and getting it worked instead of getting a full refund.

Any opinions? Are the later ones not worth it?
Or just some info on getting a hold of OX ENT. would be great.

I think I saw a pic of GLENN's with 3 of them, might PM him too if he don't see this.

    Thanks in advance Devils.

    thanks for the quick response.
I checked out the site and realized a problem.
Since I technically shouldn't even own this since I'm not military or LE, would he even look at it.
He would also have to ship it back to me IN CALIFORNIA.

I'm aware some companies/knifemakers could care less and some are real legal sticklers.

Am I going to have to go through a dealer or something, like with benchmade autos?
I'm asking since I don't want to call him, say the wrong thing and blow it.

    Anyone deal with him before?

    thanks again.

Since you now have his contact information the best person to actually ask would be him.

I have met Mr. Ochs and I'm sure he will work with you. The allen wrench set I got from Snap-On came with the correct size.

    HEHE, thanks for reminding me.
It's been almost a month and I still haven't contacted him yet.

I was concerned since i hadn't made up my mind about possibly returning the knife from the guy I purchased it from .

Obviously, I've since decided to keep it due to its rarity, and will get it sent off / fixed when I'm good and ready.

I was informed by a few that its just a warranty issue, so possibly no probs.
All the legalize crap on the site is for SALES mostly.

If it is an issue I was told by a cool guy on JD that he could be my go between.

But yeah, I do need to send it off soon before I forget again and it turns into years.

and TRD, even though I have large allen set, it seems to be one measurement smaller!
But it seems the screw would have to protrude a lot, i'd rather just have them look at it.

Thanks for reminding me I need to get this shit done!
