I know the 9" OAL fixed blade was my first fixed blade... has The Dreier Co stamped on one side and Soligen Germany on the other.
The hobo knife could have been my 1st pocket knife. Stamped with Japan Sakurai (I think) on the can opener; Stainless Steel on the blade.
They were both used during my early trapping days.

Itís taken 9 different dogs and 67 long years to make
me the gentle, patient, mellow man that I am today.
Donít be fuckiníwith me and piss me the fuck off!

None of these is my oldest, but a couple are pretty old. The middle 2 are both pre-1930. The Colonial is 1920, I believe. Not sure how old the Cattaraugus is, but it's old. I have a lot of knives, but very few pictures:

Probably this waki brought back from Japan by my father after WWII. The WWII era katana is probably the second oldest.

I think I have a pocket knife similar to the one on the far right.

Those swords are beautiful, would love to see more detail photos!

Thanks for y'all's participation, I love these old blades. They really have stories behind them (even if we don't know the story).

My father got this back when I was a little snot. The knife is bone handled with a steel blade. The blade, according to the historian, is cut and ground from wagon wheel bands. Makes sense. The necklace is beaver teeth and trade beads. I also have a Clovis spear point in a similar case. He left them to me when he passed away in '08.

Guess you got me, I will try my best to get some pics up by Friday/Saturday. I can't upload pics at home, and cant take pics at work! lol kinda a dilemma. I think there are a couple of pics of older blades on my other computer, I'll have to check, and I will try to get more pics (although they may be taken via cell phone)

The spearpoint is AWESOME! I am loving this thread!
Firebolt, I wouldn't throw the bali away either... matter of fact, if u want, you can send it to me for safe-keeping. It'll be in the safe with ur name on it and never even flipped!
