Congrats and thanks for the GAW!

One of the first memory's I have is getting a model car for a present and being so proud to put it together, (had model cement all over it, but it was together.)

    Congrats on 6666, Glenn!!!

Earliest thing I remember is shooting my dad's .223 Galil when I was 4 or 5 years old. If I can find the pics, I'll post them up.

    Congrats again, Man!

    Congrats Glenn!

I think the earliest memory would be me in the kindergarten refusing to sleep after lunch and telling the 'teacher' that my mum would, for sure, come to pick me up any time soon and therefore I didn't need to go to bed.

Now I would be happy if I could take a nap after lunch...

my memory is also kindergarden nap time. I wouldn't sleep either. but the teachers got all bitchy about it if you wouldn't at least pretend to be asleep. the assistant teachers name was a milf named Mrs. connerly.

there was a little space between the bookshelf and the counter that I always wanted to put my mat down at. its was exactly enough space for the mat to fit. so she would wear these long dresses and literally stand with my head between her feet to use the counter. I didn't know what I was looking at but I was looking really, really hard.

I think that only actually happened once, but I imagined it happening everyday thereafter.

    Congrats on 6666!

    Thanks for the awesome GAW!

Earliest, clear and complete memory is around Kindergarten age when Dad was stationed in Germany. I remember playing outside after the rain and finding HUGE snails. Fuckers seemed almost alien!

Wow, Glenn thanks for the chance. First thing I remember is Star Wars in the theater. No shit. Sister, parents, cousins, aunts and uncles all went. It was a blast. You rock, dude.

Why is it acceptable for you to be an asshole, but un-acceptable for me to point it out?

The earliest thing I can remember is playing with a big foot monster truck toy in my first house, I don't even think I knew how to read i was so young... the rest is kinda foggy until up about 5 minutes ago

Well, I need a new light, so I may as well play, huh?

My earliest memory is standing in front of the sliding glass windows onto our 2nd story porch in Point Pleasant. This was during a hurricane (Hugo, I think) and I was watching the sea water rushing down our driveway into the street, carrying debris and a car with it. Good times.

Congratulations on a shitpot full of posts, Glenn!

    Thanks for a cool giveaway!

My dad was in the Air Force, and I came into self realization in the off-base housing at Niceville, Florida near Eglin Air Force Base.

I remember we lived in a pink concrete block house, and mom had a tank of guppies that fascinated me. I had some metal trucks (Buddy L, I think) that I pushed around in the dirt of the back yard.

But I'm pretty sure this is my first memory:

It was a sunny day (of course it was, I was in Florida) and I was riding my tricycle up and down the sidewalk in front of the houses. I think it was the summer before my third birthday (which is late September).

Anyway, here's a little fat skinhead (got a military haircut every Saturday morning until dad retired) riding a red tricycle. I see a big orange tomcat that wasn't one of the usual neighborhood cats. I wheel closer to check him out.

He goes up under a car, and I ride over for a closer look. About then, he comes out from under the car in attack mode. Jumped up on me on the trike, biting, scratching and yowling.

A neighbor lady was sweeping her porch when it all happened, and came over and beat him away from me with the broom. The cat ran off and was never seen again.

This caused a HUGE mobilization of troops looking for it. They combed that area of the housing for about three or four days. I remember seeing the MP's in their jeeps cruising almost constantly. and dozens of men walking around yards and empty lots.

I was taken to the emergency room to get sewn up, and it was decided that since the cat wasn't a known one and acted in a very aggressive manner that if it wasn't found, I'd have to start taking rabies shots.

It was a series of shots. I was so little that they alternated giving them to me in the sides of my belly. It's kinda hazy, but I think the shots were every other day. I'm guessing there were at least six, and maybe up to ten or twelve. It seemed like it went on forever to a little kid.

For most of my life I had a real needle phobia, no doubt caused by my first memories of being dragged kicking and screaming every other day for a couple weeks to get a shot in one side or other of my stomach.

There was a machine near the base gate that had cans of soda pop. I remember the only good part of the trips were that I got a Canada Dry Ginger Ale after every shot, on the way home. I wasn't strong enough to actually pierce the can with the cover that you pushed down, but I'd put it in there and take it out and my dad would punch the holes.

Congratulations on the four sixes Glenn.

The earliest thing I remember clearly was the day we took a class picture in nursery school. I'm guessing I would have been 3 1/2 to 4 years old at the time. There was one kid who started crying his eyes out when we all got lined up for the picture. I have no idea why he did it (not that kids that age need much of a reason though) but the teacher had to take what seemed like ages to calm him down so we could get the shot. That picture is still probably kicking around my house somewhere.

Thanks for the chance. Youse a true devil.

Heeeey look at that, I actually have enough posts to join this one!

One of the earliest memories I have is living in a blue house in my hometown of lakeview. It was right next door to the pre-school I went to, and my parents had a large water bed. We used to want to play on the water bed all the time. I remember learning how to ride a bike in the back yard, and getting a long with my sister while playing with play-doh.

    Congrats Glenn!

I remember being around 3 or 4 and coming home with the MPs. I was fishing in mudpuddles on a landing strip with my buddie Charlie Brown.
My dad saw the light and moved us off post as soon as he could. I was a fishing fool.

    Thank you Glenn.

my earliest memory was when I was about 3 years old, my family used to vacation at the Jersey Shore in Seaside Heights with our whole block from Bloomfield. There was something like 9 families staying down there on 2 or 3 different streets. Well I remember waking up and eating breakfast when my brother came out of the bedroom saying he had eaten all the "CHOCOLATE CANDY". Well it wasn`t candy after all, it was EXLAX and he ate the whole box. Shit himself for about 1 whole week and I got all his spending money cause he couldn`t go to the boardwalk. Woo Hoo for me, shitty week for him. HAHAHAHAHA
