This coming up weekend is no good. The weekend of the 27th is Memorial Day Weekend, so that's scratched. I'm down for the 19th.

I took my woman friend for dinner at Tarantella's this past Sunday. She had the meat filled ravioli and iced tea, I had the shrimp parmigiana and a Scotch sour on the rocks... no fruit. We both thought the meals were delicious! If you don't come to a get-together for the knives and brews, come for the food and ambiance!

I suggest a night time meeting so people stuck in shit jobs like myself can come. My good friend and boss just died of a heart attack so a saturday off wont happen again for me unless i can land a new job ive been searching for. I know you guys are all old but 7 isnt that late a start, i figure we could close the place

I'm going to take a stab at an answer to your question, spydusse. Currently the knife collecting get-together is held from 1 - 4pm because it's a 'slow' time for the restaurant and that's why they let us in for free... hoping we buy food and drinks to 'boost' their slack time. At least that's my understanding. Business does pick up after that and we wouldn't get that section of the restaurant for a night time meeting.
