It lookes like you got robbed via Mail Fraud and it looks like the Postmaster General could care less about a petty Mail Fraud case. Although all Mail Fraud is a federal offense no matter how petty.
You are 100% right, just be aware of this little crook, because as you said like it is small nobody is going after him, good thing is that he did the scam with a cheap knife, and not with a high end knife, were he could scam thousand's and not hundred's, I was not the only one, he did the same to another guy in Blade Forums
I'm sorry, I must have missed it. Where in that video did it document that the Postmaster General could care less about petty mail fraud cases? I saw an attorney....not the Postmaster General....give a pure vanilla description of mail fraud, and the fact that it was recently amended to include common carriers such as Fed Ex, UPS, etc.

Dan (and everyone else) as I explained to dvr I occationally need to spend a cpl. of days in hospital, this time it ended up 2 weeks. I had also just moved prior. Dan, I sent your knife out at least 3-4 weeks ago!. I listed the 3 knives I sold both here and on JD. I was not sure which went where, but all three are gone. Dvr's knife is the only one I sent out after I returned. I can't seem to find the Tr. rec. for your knife, but it has to be around here. I'll go to the PO and see what I can do. Sorry for the confusion. If it is def. lost I'll refund your $$, but let us see. I;d hate to be out the knife and the $$.
Otto says he sent tmbrcrafter's knife after he got out of the hospital but based on tmbrcrafter's comments here and at BF I get the impression Otto told him he'd sent it out before that and it wasn't true. The other two knives were supposedly shipped weeks before that point but haven't shown up and Otto's been out of touch. It's kinda hard to take his claim serioulsy that three knives were sent out.

::SMH:: This is sad. The forums are the best place to find the knives you're looking for no matter how long out of production or obscure they are. When these people pop up defrauding all the honest folks out of their money it shakes everyones confidence a little bit. This is the reason why I only deal on the JD and no other forums. At least here the community sticks together. Hope all this has a happy ending. Just my worthless 2 cents.

hey, i just joined jersey devil forums, but ive been a member of other similar forums for years. i just found out that someone who burned a couple of people over on bladeforums is on here too. his user name is "oman" and his name is otto bingel. he took payment from two people for a knife that diddnt exist and dragged a thread along for months claiming he was in the hospital/couldnt find our knives/he sent them out already. basically a thief, he managed to get himself banned on blafeforums for this transaction and has not been heard from since. that was back in april/may/june. i just joined here and i notice he had some activity back in august. im just giving a warning that if he posts something for sale here, just forget it. you will never see the knife or your money again. maybe the mods will look into it and perhaps ban him here as well to save us the trouble.
