Very slim and form fitting, maybe sturdy molded plastic, thin lining, pocket carry sheath, black on black with black rims and the maker's mark design/signature on a small tab/tongue that comes over the front of the pocket with the clip.

Tactical or elaborate, either one, but never both at the same time. I'm a sucker for fancy leather work though, growing up in a shoe repair and leather shop, I've got a warm place in my heart for quality leather goods... I can spot shotty workmanship from a mile away when it comes to leather though.

This Came about by me seeing Peters work on other sheaths, I liked that his work was rustic, using various inlay materials, basically I just liked the "LOOK" Of his craftsmanship.

Now, this took a bit of doing as Peter lives north of the boarder and shipping a Balisong to Canada is taboo.

SOOO, I sent RazorSharp, Monty a note to see if he would work with me to help get this process on the road as he is in Canada too.

I originaly was going to ship my G2 sheath to Peter as a sample platform to work from, and Monty would ship Peter a 42 for sheath forming.

Monty stepped up to the plate and sent off a 42 AND his G2 sheath to work from.

I gave Peter free artistic licence to make me a sheath. My requirements were that is be horizontal carry, leather and I chose a crock inlay.

From there the rest is history. You can see in the background of these images the intence thought that went into fabrication. Perhaps you can even make out other sheaths to come.

Long story short, This beautiful Leather Sheath with Crocodile inlay is heading to me shortly.

I am in aw of the time and efforts put fourth by Peter, hats off to you Sir !

Now what are you waiting for ? Click Peter's name , send a PM take a number and wait in line is what I say !

Thanks to Peter, Monty for helping make this a reality !

With Peter's blessing I introduce his first Bali sheath.

Monty is 2nd runner up .

Glenn, Monty - Thank you for your very gracious comments. These wore a lot of fun to make and I'm glad you're both happy. Your packages are now in the gentle and caring hands of our postal service. You should receive them in a few days.

I should give credit where credit is certainly due: Gary Graley(G2) does incomparable leather work. His sheaths use the finest materials, are distinctively designed, expertly crafted, flawlessly finished, and are cleverly functional. I'll say it again - Gary Graley does incomparable leather work! It was a pleasure to see his work first-hand.

As well, Glenn and Monty were a pleasure to work with and get to know. I'm honored that they trusted my vision and ability, and their guidance was invaluable throughout the process. Thank you guys for the opportunity to build these.

    All the best,

    Peter

Wow P. McKinley, that is exceptional work right there my friend. I am very, very impressed!
Montey, did you send him a Balibalistic yet? I think I will be getting in contact with P. very soon for an order if he is taking them...

Not yet, but definitely thinking about it, I'm tossing another project around with Peter and the moment, but likely will eventually see if he will do a sheath for my mokuti BB, over the top sheath for a over the top knife.

Allen, I saw Peters other work on sheaths. I knew he could make a outstanding product. Should be in my hands Monday or Tuesday. Will post some images.

My sheath arrived from Peter. Attention to detail was ridiculous, but in a good way from the brown paper wrapping to the twine it was tied off in. Sorry don't have closed images as my cameras batts were dead and there was no way in hell I was going to wait to open this box that came.

Peter's leather work is simply outstanding.

Here it sits with it's companion my BM 62 in it's new home.

And here with my G2 sheath with Flyfather #2 proto.

    More impressions to come.

Here are some better pictures of the one Peter made for me, as Glenn said attention to detail is above and beyond anything you would expect.
