A couple of days ago I ran into a couple of guys in my local gun shop. They started talking knives and were familiar with the prybar I do. The idea kicked around was for that blade on an FOS sized piece. So....I started sketching it this morning and came up with a drawing I liked. Sat that aside and went out to do some handle shaping. All day I can't stop thinking about making this thing so, around 4pm I grabbed yet another piece of the leftover 1084 from the Barong. As luck would have it, it was just the right size for the design...admittedly it is a little thick for a knife this size but I just wanted to see what this thing would look like. From band saw, to drill press to grinder up through an A65 trizact CF finish took about 2 and a half hours.

A few pics....8.25" OAL with a 4"blade...







Now I can get back to what I should have been doing

Yeah Parker this thing cries to be made of 3V and it will be. This handle is definitely one of my minimalist styles. A compromise for sure but....really good for getting the most out of my "smaller" designs. I will be doing a 6" version of this with a full size handle.

btw --- fuck those chisel grinds -- I won't own one as I'd feel like I got "chiseled" buying one -- wtf , they forget to grind the other half
