In vino veritas.
Will consider purchasing Ben Cardoso or Nathan Dewey balisongs... pm me with a description/price if you might sell.
Damn, I love this forum!
Siriusly, Tim, that is a really pretty piece. The .22 conversion? Ow. How come you always find the really cool stuff?
On a side note, while I have a couple nice 1911 waiting for me when I get around to visiting a friend, I would like to find, at some distant juncture, a Colt Ace. None of these bullshit "1911" .22's which are being marketed now, but a real Colt Ace.
And just maybe a 1911A1 .38 Super, though the cost of shooting it a bunch would be prohibitive.

Nice Roscoe you found there!
You were lucky to find one on which the blue hasn't started to turn "plum" color. I have a very similar Series 70 but the grip safety and thumb safety have turned a funky plum color. I heard this was due to a flawed bluing process used by Colt during the time of the Series 70s and on some early Series 80s.
Parker - here is my Series 70 Mk IV Government, .38 Super, circa 1982 or so.
I got it several years ago, like new, maybe 10 rounds through it as well.
Regarding the "neat" finds Parker, I now have 2 Colt Conversion Units. One I bought last year without the box, but all parts present.
