    Blade: 8" x 1/4" of hand forged Aldo's 1084fg, near-full distal taper
Un-sharpened swedge, flat grind with 2000 grit hand-rubbed finish. Razor sharp!

Handle: 4 3/4" Spalted, figured Red Maple heartwood with brilliant chatoyance and deep, rich color variegation.
Blued mild steel guard with spacers of copper, African Blackwood and mild steel. 1/4" peened and polished copper pin. Tung oil and buffed paste wax finish.

Sheath: Fully lined Wickett and Craig 6-7 oz veg. tanned leather, dyed dark brown with polished natural edges and Grey Seal skin inlay. Hand turned Red Maple(same as knife handle) lanyard bead and maker's marks tag. This rig comes with a 42' leather shoulder strap w/ polished copper snaps for alternate carry option. Dark "antique copper" snap components were used to reduce "glitter". The sheath, including the seal skin inlay, has a hand rubbed mink oil finish (because I don't have Sno Seal.......... ba-dump... bump).

Nice work, but I have a question or two.

I knew you knew how to make a working mans knife sheath, a knife in a sheath that will not fall off, get ripped off, or removed except by me.

When I slither along jungle trails like a snake with vines so low my back gets scratched so narrow my sides are bleeding, like this for days at a time, I end up in mangrove swamps in water up to my nose at times with underwater vines and dead under water limbs tearing at my gear and clothes, will this sheath hold up ?

    When I reach my target
the absolute last thing I need is my knife missing, if my knife is missing i might end up missing permanently, so can you see the need that I have a "tight sheath" ?

NICE, I love that handle it matches the antique look of the blade.
