Quick ZT 0561 Review with pics and Video

So heres a little review on the 0561 i picked up a few days ago. This knife is a home run.It has been with me since i got it and i dont see it going anywere for quite some time.

It actually makes my XM18 3.5 look small but there is no real noticeable weight difference, which i think is a Big plus.

I had a chance to pick between a few of these a the place i purchased and chose this one because of the Detent. It is VERY Strong. All of them had a strong detent ,but this one was noticeably stronger than the rest. And it Fires hard and fast.

I was lucky enough to get a low serial number too (0037)..

The blade is perfectly centered with no Blade or lock play at all

And the KVT system is just plain awesome.Hers a short vid of how smooth it is(sorry about the crappy video)

I just cant say enough good things about it.Here are a couple more comparison pics

That brown color is sexy, like smelling a high class lady's perfume as she walks by.

How does hinderer's framelock compare in strength to demko's triad lock? My only folder's a cold steel ak-47, but ZT knives call to me.

I seriously doubt you`ll have a problem with either one, unless you`re performing a full-on "Testing `til destruction"....

ZT knives can take The Pepsi Challenge, for sure....

OK....I`ve had this 561 for two weeks now, and am completely impressed with it. Kershaw/ZT definitely hit a home run with this model.(Thank you, Rick Hinderer !) If you prefer a fairly large (but not too heavy), built like a brick shithouse folder with killer sex appeal, this just might be the knife for you. The only (slightly) negative thing I find is that the ball-detent is *really* hard to overcome. I`ve found that using my thumb on the stud AND my index finger on the flipper, giving it a "scissors motion" (like snapping your fingers) makes opening a lot easier.
