    Gayle Bradley vs Superleaf

Along the way, I carefully examined this knife and that as best I could on youtube, etc. I've tried to make informed decisions based on what I think I'd like, then take the leap and plunk down XX$ (no real knife retailer in my area,, at least one I can find. Greater Cinci area if any of you know of some place around here). So far I'm batting about 70%. The other 30 per,,, I post for sale, for what ever reason.

Well, right now I've sold my Sage because it was a bit small. I love my Para2 and want to stick with Spyderco. So, I'm considering either the Superleaf or the Gayle Bradley. I know one mans opinion is another's BS, but any thoughts on these two knives,,,, or your suggestion in place of one of these,,,, would be appreciated.

    Thanks,,

You cant go wrong with either, bet thats what you wanted to hear

I'd go for the Gayle bradley, one of the ones with proper heat treat, for two reasons. No.1 , because i'm into knives that feel like a solid billet, and No.2 I'm a sucker for premium tool steels!

I have both ... but if I had to pick between the two, the Gayle Bradley would win out easily. It feels so much better in my hand and can handle a wider variety of tasks than the SuperLeaf ... and ... I really like M4 steel. The biggest plus for the SuperLeaf is its compression lock. That said ... as was already pointed out, I really don't think you would regret either.

    Gayle Bradley

I don't have the superleaf but I've had the GB for 3 weeks now . It has quickly become a favorite . Great ! Great ! knife .

Hi, I have both knives. Either one would be great, depending on your intended use. Super leaf takes up more pocket space, but GB is heavier.

I'd easily go with the Gayle Bradley. It's one of the best value knives I know of. It's just got such a great design and great materials with perfect fit and finish. You'll understand once you get one.

Actually, if you're looking for something that's really useful in everyday situations, consider the

    Spyderco Junior (DIALEX)

Likely one of the nicest folders I've come across if you're the type to ready your food and eat it with the knife in your pocket.

Compression Lock and VG-10 steel. Big blade considering it's size and weight.

Thanks for all the replies (I've been gone a while and am just getting caught up on some of my older posts. Anyway,,, I went with the GB and couldn't be happier. The M4 steel keeps an edge like crazy and the knife is built like a tank. Fit and finish are perfect too. My only complaint, if forced to think of something, would be the liner lock is just a bit tough to get my big thumb on. But it's soo smooth and the blade is soo awesome I usually forget about that.
