Benchmade customer service probem!

I called BM to see if they could tighten up the Mechanism in my Lone Wolf Paul Defender. They told me that there is special tools that they don't have...But they made a run of BM Pauls, so they have to have the tool. I love these knives but the absence of any screws in the pivot is a pain in the ass. I'm not sure how I'm gonna do this, I'm good art fixing stuff, and have a workshop but this might be tricky. I think BM could fix it for me, I'm not sure why they decided not to. It's all f-ed up, they buy a great Knife Brand and scrap all of the cool knives. No more Pauls, NO MORE HARSEY'S WHICH ARE THE COOLEST KNIVES EVER (IMO). I'm glad my collection is getting more valuble but I better not use any cause I'm on my own.

Too bad you can't send it to Gerber. I sent them an early original Paul knife last year when it was feeling "sticky". They fixed it up real nice & even sent it back in a new pouch! All free of charge too. I'm not a huge fan of Gerber knives, but I was certainly happy with their customer service.
