That's the first of 3 new knife designs that Dwaine is working on. It can be had with or without the flipper. The name of Dwaine's knife company is "Airkat", when you mentioned that this design looks more user friendly than his previous one, maybe you are thinking of the Tripwire?

I'm not a huge fan, but I will say he has a style all his own. There is no doubt. There is also no way you could miss that flipper! That is pretty slick.
