everything you guys say it`s valid and true i did not said what i said `cos i expect you to be my, or anybody elses babysitter it just that before EOD had enough, and blew the lid on this, all i happen to see was very lite snipping subtle warnings and no follow through on any, (and truth to be told personally since i wasn't going to be his costumer i did not dig any deeper)..Frisky was on the JDBA 7 months but before that,he was getting around... everywhere it seems with fixed blades,folders custom mods and dusters(?) but somehow the weight is on the balitosssers Mark`s post felt at the time as a cheap shot and that`s why i said what i said
yes there were questions to be asked but have you considered the fact that people did not asked them `cos they did not wanted to be singled out(or so they thought it would happen..)This happens in forums all the time...people think they are the only ones to think something is not right so they dont say shit...till finally one has had enough and then the shit hits the fun...spectacularly if i may add
I would also venture to say if frisky could turn a mean blade it would had taken more than 7 months for this to happen

This goes hand in hand with what I said about thicker skin. If somebody has questions, then they need to step up and ask them. They don't have to ask them right out in the open if they're shy, they can PM anybody. I rarely venture on the balisong forum, but I could easily think of a few of you that I could PM with any questions or suspicions I might have, and that's on top of the Mods.

Even if I didn't have suspicions, I wouldn't spend big money on a knife without talking to somebody I respect that actually has one. I'd do a search of the person's real name, their business name, and their forum name. I'd look what's being said about them and their work. I damn sure wouldn't be spend 700 bucks on a knife by a maker who doesn't already have history of outstanding quality.

I agree, Mark's post came across as a dig, but it was so fucking slight that it's ridiculous to take offense to it. It was nothing, yet you took offense to it and commented about it. Now you're trying to justify why you did. All this over the slightest little remark. We play rough here, and you need thick skin for that. I don't mean that as a dig or anything, but a few of you get butt hurt way too easy.

Yep. He has all these expensive knives and tools.. but can't even put a shaving edge on his own "custom" knife. Hahaha. I bet you get better NIB edges from $10 Kershaws from China.

Funny you mention that: I had someone send me a Kershaw Leek -- one of those China-made ones -- and it was hair-popping sharp right out of the box. The steel was crap 440A, but it was really sharp crap. I'm not very good with my Edge Pro and I can do better than that video shows.

As for the expensive tools, I get the impression that they aren't his. They probably belong to his dad, as he stated in his blog "My father and I both have a background in metal work, having both been into the Combat Robotics circuit for well over ten years,"
