    Scumbag of the week

    Went online to check eBay today... always good to make your blood pressure rise. Found out some asshat by the name of ******** who had bought and returned a customized Boker Epicenter from me had left negative feedback. This ALWAYS sets me off.

    You know, I can understand buying something, not liking it and sending it back. That's fine, a transaction's not complete till both parties are happy. But this asshole is the limit, and I need a rant.

    I sent this knife out to him way below my cost, we're talking a fifty dollar hosing here, which doesn't sound like a lot to most people but in my position, every dollar is valuable. Shipped it same day and it arrives in a couple days, standard stuff. This is on new years by the way, almost a month ago. New years day he tells me he wants to send it back. I asked him why to which he replied "the scale is off". I asked him for photos asking if he was sure, as I had checked the knife before sending it out, and he sends over photos acting all pissy. He was so offended that i asked to see what was up with it, he starts insulting my intellegence and vision, saying I must clearly be blind. Whatever man, I do have a bit of titanium imbedded in my right eye, but idk if it affects my vision or not.

    So I told him I could take back the knife and I'd give him his money back for shipping. He gets a full refund including return shipping costs. He sends the knife back to me I give him a refund for the knife and the return shipping. About a month later he leaves negative feedback. Seriously? On what grounds, I gladly gave him his money back AND return shipping, which is better than most retailers. I felt like I gave this guy A level service and here I get a slap in the face. I can take insults, I have thick skin, but seriously what the hell is wrong with this guy? I don't mean to be a dick, but this guy claims I wasted his time and money. Sorry, but the only person who lost money on this was me, and now I have to waste my time worrying about this prick and if this is going to affect my ability to sell on eBay. Seriously, why do you leave negative feedback a month later without prior contacting the person whom you are going to leave it to and for a transaction that was resolved in a timely fashion where no one was hurt in the process?

    Today sucks, my back's blown out, I've got haters who be hatin' and I've got to turn in a damn German essay, take a Psych test and give some BS speech in my comm class. Screw Thursdays.

    I believe you can contest the feedback with Ebay... I could be confusing it with Amazon, but if I recall correctly you have a chance to have that pulled.

    Some dickbags just LIKE causing trouble. Unfortunately, it's still against the law to napalm them.

    I refuse to use eBay anymore due to the douchebaggery that comes with it. eBay has become just as bad if not worse than Craigslist in regards to dealing with general assholes. Add paypal into that bunch and you're just asking for unnecessary stress. Fuck em all especially eBay.

    Sadly with eBay the only thing I can do is reply and request that the feedback be changed, which I did. I think with this transaction i was more than generous, it's so annoying when you do everything right and still get burned.

    Damn, that sucks! I don't use ebay any more than I absolutely have to, I buy if I can't find the item elsewhere, but that's about it. I'm not a fan, in general, they're so big now that they couldn't give less of a shit about their customers.

    And I still DO have hopes for 'tard-palming to become legal in time. It'd certainly improve the world.

    One bid, your listed price yet you state 50 bucks slim on the deal, should have priced it better.

    Auction closed December 17th, took you half a month to get it to him, and another month dicking around with a refund, he stated he got the refund but took you a while to get it to him

    Overview 2 negatives, one neutral and a positive you made happen through compromise. All out of 86 transactions. I would not deal with you on ebay, or here for the matter after you blew off any and all responsibility of not answering my PM that got "lost or never made it" As you claim.

    I'm still waiting on a email from you to see what I had wanted. I'm not holding my breath.

    You know Glenn you could have just sent me an email...

    I have one negative from a russian dude who refused to send his knife back for a refund. What can you do. He won't give me the opportunity to rectify a problem, so I can't fix it. That guys on this forum too, he's bought other knives from me. At least there theres a logistical excuse, this dude didn't want to send them back because he's in Russia. I def would have given him his money and return shipping back tho, that's how I roll. This dude was in Cali, he got his return shipping and a full refund. Negative feedback after that's just plain asinine.

    Oh and Boogerbutt, lets compare and see the knives you make bro. Maybe before disrespecting people who make knives, you should try and build some yourself. Walk a mile in a man's shoes.

    I was under the impression we had reached a deal and would hammer out the details when I was closer to production...

    Glenn, I respect every one of my customers. They're the reason I do what I do. I enjoy working with people on a day to day basis to make some really cool stuff. I don't believe I have a twisted sense of business, believe me. I believe the customer is always right and they should be happy no matter the cost. That's why I pay for people's returns if they get an item they dont like and offer full refunds. As far as I'm concerned, its the only legitimate way of doing business. That's been my policy and will always be my policy as long as I'm in this business.

    What you have is a chip on your shoulder because I didn't have time to respond to you and didn't realize after the fact that I hadn't. I get hundreds of emails a day, I'm human and I make mistakes. I've already told you that and invited you to open up a private dialogue. The only person being immature here is you for not taking me up on my offer. I have a lot going on right now and it's one of my shortcomings, I can't keep up sometimes. It would help me out greatly if you would send me an email, that way we could be civil to one and another. Seriously, we used to get along and had, for what I thought, a decent working relationship. Bury the hatchet man, I'm not your enemy nor do I want to be. I really mean you no animosity, but it's frustrating because I'm at my own working capacity and I can't meet everyone's demands.
