I got a chance to go to the Monday night game at Gillette. This was the first time I've seen a football game at the new stadium and it was a fucking blast. The atmosphere was great. Everyone was excited and made noise all night.
It was chilly but a nice pregame tailgate meal and a few drinks took care of that. Most of first half was blah, second half much better. The two Gronkowski TDs were really nice plays on his part to stay in bounds and score. The Edelman return for a TD was the clincher. All of those came at my end of the stadium which was nice. Anyway, here are some pictures.
~ Inside for the first time
~ Pregame view from our seats
~ Getting near kickoff with a full house
~ Honor Guard (Portsmouth, NH Police Dept.) and the National Anthem
~ Coin Flip
~ Offense in the 1st half
~ Halftime
~ Back at home with my spiffy new hat.

. I've never been to Gillette but I used to work at Foxborough for about a year. I was actually on the field a few times for some preseason games. The womens world cup games were my favorite to work.

No cuts no glory.
