Dusters for KMNREMTP WIP thread

So KMNREMTP asked me to do a set of knuckle dusters for him and his wife, I figured I'd do a WIP thread to show y'all some photos on how I'm going to make them. I'll probably end up adding some film to this so y'all can see what goes on and how I work in my shop.

KMNREMTP's spec is 2x knuckle dusters, lime green G10 with my logo milled into it. In order to get the width I want on the material, I'm going to use a liminate of G10, with a thin black liner on the inside. When laminated together, the G10 will be just like one solid piece of material... having used this method to make knuckles in the past, I know you can punch a brick wall and it won't affect the G10. In addition I'm going to unlay glow material into the knuckles for my logo. I may try and get some kind of cushioning on the handle too while I'm at it.

The beauty of using G10 for knuckles is it's relatively affordable but totally indestructable.

They're going to be hawt, I've got some drawings I'll scan this evening to show y'all what my initial design looks like. Of course once I have material in hand we'll really get this show on the road. I've got high hopes for this project so far.

Still waiting on G10 to come in :/ I'll scan my drawings tonight assuming I have time. I kinda forgot about my Poly Sci term paper lol.

Just got a MASSIVE supply drop from Midwest Knife Supply, took a little longer than usual because it was packed in a frickin' crate LOL! This package must weigh 50 pounds it's so much G10 and steel. I've got G10 in hand for the knuckles now, looks like premium stuff, as well as Kydex material and stuff for my customs. Stay tuned

And Will, Midwest supply DOES have some great stuff and I've bought from them before. it's good to know what supplier you're using for when I send you specs for my custom
