Buy American - Its The Right Thing To Do.
My hairs turning WHITE. My necks always been RED. My collars still BLUE. - Lynyrd Skynyrd -
My gas tank's full and I don't smoke.....
AKA: WHEEZER
I'm dreaming tonight, I'm living back home
Right!
Yeah...yeah
Take me back to a south Tallahassee
Down cross the bridge to my sweet sassafrassy
Can't stand up on my feet in the city
Gotta get back to the real nitty gritty
Yes sir, no sir
Don't come close to my
Home sweet home
Can't catch no dose
Of my hot tail poon tang sweetheart
Sweathog ready to make a silk purse
From a J Paul Getty and his ear
With her face in her beer
Home sweet home
Get out in the field
Put the mule in the stable
Ma she's a cookin'
Put the eats on the table
Hate's in the city
And my love's in the meadow
Hands on the plow
And my feets in the ghetto
Stand up, sit down
Don't do nothing
It ain't no good when boss man's
Stuffin' down their throats
For paper notes
And their babies cry
While cities lie at their feet
When you're rockin' the street
Home sweet home
Mama, take me home sweet home
I was the last child
I'm just a punk in the street

John,
If you like Desmond Dekker, you should also check out Jimmy Cliff`s "The Harder They Come"....cool movie (available on YouTube), great soundtrack.

One more from the band that No Doubt wishes they were.
And chill all you No Doubt lovers and folks who simply must touch themselves at the sight of Gwen Stefani.
No Doubt ain't bad.........but this is a much better product from a sonic perspective in my humble opinion.

I actually woke up to this one playing in my head yesterday but it's still playing in my head today. I don't know how I dragged this one up... I was all of 8 years old when it came out by The Platters in 1955. The green eyed woman likes it... a lot!
It’s taken 9 different dogs and 65 long years to makeme the gentle, patient, mellow man that I am today.Don’t be fuckin’with me and piss me the fuck off!
Not typically one for religious themed music, but this guy's the exception. His music style spans everything from southern rock to world music more recently. And the feel is usually pretty eerie and dramatic. Dude's faith is dark. Not exactly Amy Grant. ...probably why I dig it so much.
