RIP Andy Rooney

While he became an easy target for mockery ("Have you ever noticed..."), I liked him.

He was a writer who ended up in tv, not a tv guy at all.


As a reporter for "Stars and Stripes" in WWII.


This is what a real journalist and his office should look like (back in the day).


Technology moves on (but I kinda miss the old Remington typewriters).


Maybe the coolest eyebrows ever.

Rest in peace, Mr. Rooney.

I have been a fan of 60 Minutes pretty much since its inception. Not always a fan of Andy's comments but still he had an option whether it was PC or not which I do respect from any journalist.
