50 minutes of lost "Blue Velvet" footage found!

Almost an hour of lost footage has been found in a warehouse in Seattle of David Lynch's "Blue Velvet", including a stripper lighting her nipples on fire with a match.

I remember watching it with a roomful of friends on our weekly "movie night". It was my pick, because I thought Dennis Hopper was awesome.

It was definitely a moment in 1986 Kentucky. Over half of the people left disgusted before it was over. I guess it's a love it or hate it kinda thing... I loved it.

Lynch will be releasing a dvd (in the UK at first), with all the lost stuff included in the extras.

I'll be getting it when (if) it's released in America.

One of Lynch's more understandable movies. Frank was a hoot.

More " I get it " able than Wild at Heart ?
    Nope.
But one of my favorite films.
I have two brothers who drink Heineken ....... you know what they hear every time they open a bottle.
Greeting friends and family with a rapidly deployed hand and a loud " Who is this FUCK ? " is considered normal.
    A joy ride , neighbor ?
    Don't even ask.
Still , over twenty years past when I first saw the flick , it entertains me.
