Hi All,

Neil, 27, do Advanced Product Development for Oakley in So Cal. Gotten to know the boys at Strider well over the past few years and my collection has grown. Mostly functional stuff that I enjoy to carry and use, but I do have a couple of fancy pants blades that I keep nice.

I'm a hardcore car guy and the "trailer queen" car culture in So-cal hurts. Being an engineer, great stuff that is made well, is done so to be used. I try to apply this to anything that I buy, so almost all my knives get used well.

I'm originally from Scotland and am currently pondering with Duane at Strider a Scottish Sgian Dubh with a Macallan cask wood handle...It should be fun.

Whisky is my only vice that I collect untouched / unopened versions of, but I also drink my fair share of good stuff.

Hope that serves as a good enough intro. I have one awesome knife I'm looking to sell to make some charity money, but I will involve myself in the forum too.

Looking forward to seeing all the crazy customs you have.

Well... they are a bunch of numpties, bampots, bawbags and zoomers (especially that Ronlad guy)... but The JD is the best damn forum because of all of them.

Auchterarder. it was cold and wet and way too small (but I still love it). Got a job with Oakley in SoCal and thought about it for all of about 3 mins and said "OK".

Don't think it will be California forever for me - it's a bit concretey here, but I love it just now.

Auchterarder to SoCal is quite a move.... how long have you been in the US?
