Since Jeff posted it before I could. I will give you my impression of the new Space knife. I could be ruined for knives. I told my wife when I got it. Where can I go from here? This is absolutely the most beautiful knife in my collection. Jeff really out did himself on this one. I was thoroughly impressed with it. The action is just unbelievable. I have other Harkins, Microtechs and Sandsharks but this surely beats them all. I can't say enough about this one. Thanks so much Jeff. Man I can't wait for the next one. Two years in the making. I finally got it and it was worth the wait. This is the Prototype #1. Jeff is going to make one more proto and then a total of nine of these beauties. All are going to be different. Here are the specs for this one. 4140 Carbon frame, hot gun blued with turkish twist damascus blade. Eggerling Damascus inlays. 24K gold inlays and a 2mm Ruby. Without a doubt the best work of Jeffs yet. Jeff said the mechanism inside is totally revamped and nothing like what is out there. It really is a impressive knife. The most impressive thing about is. There is no blade play at all. Lockup feels like a fixed blade. Just amazing. Its a big knife. Last photo I put in a Benchmade Infidel for comparison.
