My Lon Humphrey Knives

I made the two hour trip to Louisville to a Knife and Gun Show today.

Lon Humphrey said he'd be there, so I decided to go meet my first Devil in person, and support a knifemaker who's doing knives I like. Lon could not have been a nicer guy, and I was happy to meet him.

I got up very early (for me) and forgot my camera, so I didn't get a picture with Lon .

I was waffling between two styles of handle and blade shape combos. When he shot me a great price, I bought both!

They look like something my great grand father would have carried. I like the timeless style.






They came in very nice dangler sheaths.

These knives will be users, not safe queens.

The one I finally choose as my favorite will have a long, tough career as a real tool.
