Derespina Kris Balisong Prototype!

So I'm debating whether or not to make this a single edge. As of now it's pretty much done but for etching. The blade is now double edged to a zero edge so it's ultra sharp. CPM154 rc 61. Titanium frame with desert camo g10 scales over. I had made a T latch from G10 but it didn't hold up well, still working on that idea so went with a pre fab stainless latch instead, worked out nicely. The blade is 3/16" thick and the length is also a hair under 4" long. 9" OAL when opened.

This is the proto because I will change the profile just a teeny tiny bit. As well being it's my first Balisong, I would label it a proto as well.

Bronze washers. Hand sanded blade to 400 grit. Over all I'm pleased with it, just needs minor tweaking by hand to be perfect.

Thanks guys a million times over. Yeah I was leaving it DE, for fuck sake... LOL Even if I lose a finger LOL This one is spoken for unfortunately but they will run around $600. approximately. For no Kris blades around $575. which will be introduced in the fall.

That is one sweet beefy bali - just looking at the tang+tang pins and handles speaks to a heavy flipper. I really dig the gator ridges on the handles! Oh yes, ++ for keeping the wicked DE kris blade.

Glad you noticed the texture on the sides of the handles. They actually do add a little extra grip to the Bali!
