It's probably better if you don't read this....

Greetings and salutations. I was invited here by the illustrious and mysterious Mr L, whom I have known for about a hundred thousand years at KF. Some of you may know me too, and for that I deeply apologize. Many of you still lead normal, happy lives, but that is about to change now that I'm here!

My name is Grant, but most people know me as Defender or Def on KF or on one of my own sites like SOSAKOnline, Multitool.org, EDCSource or even on the Motorola Atrix forum. Some sick bugger already registered here as Defender, so I get to go with my secret identity instead.

As cool as this place is, you are missing some of the coolest smileys out there:

With you as the meat of the sandwich! MUAH.

Come on, as Def stated we have known each other for many moons. We even use the same cell phone. Both of us know just exactly who wears BLOOMERS and who does not.

AND to the other Mr. L, I see you have noticed the single best collection of smilies in the virtual universe then, eh?

Dam good to *finally* see you over here. Sir. (respectfully, sir)

As in with utmost respect. (Sir)

I get the feeling that if Ron did go that way, he'd still have standards and I'd be out of the running anyway! :P

12' Liquid Logic Manta Ray (I think LL is strictly Whitewater/Playboats now; Native Watercraft is making the Manta.)
It's a sit-on-top set up for fishing. I have an adjustable Scotty rod holder between my knees, and 4 flush mount rod holders behind me.

Wow! A 17 footer! That's some serious boatage!

Nice boat! I'm on the ocean here so sit on tops are mostly out of the question for me. If I was to get into the topless market though I think I'd shoot for a Hobie Cat Adventure Island:

    http://www.hobiecat.com/kayaks/mirage/adventure-island/

I test drive one with the Mirage Drive system a while back and you'd be amazed at the propulsion you get from it! I swear I had that boat up on a plane!

I don't have many pics of me in my boat, but here it is on a recent excursion through St Margaret's Bay.

It's a handful, but thank Dog for fiberglass!

Nice. A big touring/ocean boat is my dream retirement/traveling boat. My 12' is about all I can use (or want to drag to) most of the streams and small lakes around here (western Kentucky).

I got mine about 2 months before I saw my first Mirage drive boat. Haven't tried one myself, but I hear they scoot pretty good.

I want to try one of THESE bad boys:

I like the idea of a motor, but I'm not sure I would ever use one. I like paddling!

My 17 foot boat spends most of it's time in freshwater, usually along the Shubie Canal which is a made made waterway that runs the width of my province (about 65-70 miles) but I do occasionally take it in the ocean too for some added excitement.

You can see the crappy patches on the side. It's ugly, but it's water tight and that's the important part. New that thing was $3,000, but I bought it as is for $275 because of those ugly patches. Not a bad deal when you think about it, and it gives me a nice project too!

Contact Tim at Felinevet for any and all SAK type needs- fveap@sosakonline.com or www.felinevet.sosakonline.com. He's the best for pricing, service and availability, which is why I've been working with and endorsing him for seven or eight years now. In that time, I have never heard any complaints about him, which is amazing, since, as you know, people on the 'net can complain about anything! :P

For Leathermans (or any other brands!) I have to suggest you talk to my good friend Travis in the Multitool.org Store at www.EDCSource.com but I think I'm about to get into some poo about excessive spamming!

    Hi Def..
    Do I know you? :P

Hey Allan, did you get lost or something?
