    m.o.b. 2011 Build off WIP.....

I've had what I wanted to do in my head for about a month so tonight, I grabbed a sharpie and a big chunk of Aldo's 1075, 5/16"th's thick and commenced (that's the past tense of fixin to in Texas), I commenced to carvin out a gigantic, psycho, recurve mega Bowie that'd make Jim say Hell Yeah!

No pattern this time I just scratched it out right on the steel.....

Here I am at the comencin' part...

This is the part where Jim says "Hell Yeah"....

After all the bandsawing and profiling.....about 21.5" in OAL right now....

Thanks for looking! All comments welcome!

That's it! This will be the model for the first folder. Where can I get a 3/4" pivot?

So true! I'm gonna hog out a lot of meat with the contact wheel, switch to the platen to make it flat, then to the rotary to slightly convex it. Should be fun
