Sorry about that, I have never heard of Talonite. Where does Talonite fit in and how does it compare?

it's cobalt based material, much like 6K, only better.
of course it's non magnatic, and rust free.
it weighs about the same as steel, and the big difference between talonite and 6k is talonite is harder than 6k, making it a more suitable material for knives.
                  hope that helps

                    Toro,

Does Your Computer have something Called-- ?

Here is a suggestion--Do that First and then Come Back and ask questions bases on what You have Found out.

It will be far more productive and You will have a better idea of what you are asking for.

Here is a data Source for You .

Come on Toro. Just buck up and buy one. I think you'll love it. I've never had a talonite knife yet either. If you're gonna be around anything corrosive, this is the knife to have.

From what I've read, talonite holds an edge for a really long time, and rust is not an issue.

Yes I am learning good things about Talonite.
I have no idea of even a price range for something like this.
I will wait to hear and learn more.
I really like the looks and what I am hearing about both the Buck Shot and also Simonich Knives.
