  • Lurker checking in.

Hello all. I'm reintroducing myself since it looks like thats a must after the new changes. I really am a lurker to be honest though, lol. I've bought some knives over the last couple years from this forum and mostly browse the threads learning new things every time I log in. I'm a yooper from the U.P. of Michigan. Spent the last decade in an iron mine digging up orel for all of our awesome blades. I'm a welder by trade and have recently started playing with a forge and anvil. I do a lot of hunting and bush crafting and take advantage of the fact that I live close enough to DLT Trading, KnivesShipFree, and BRKT to visit when I feel like it! Glad to be a part of the knife community and am happy to be a part of the JD.

        I must not fear.
        Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
        I will face my fear.
I will permit it to pass over me and through me.
And when it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
Where the fear has gone there will be nothing.
        Only I will remain.

to the best Forum on the planet!
The goal of the martial arts is not for the destruction of an opponent, but rather for self-growth and self-perfection. The practice of a martial art should be a practice of love - for the preservation of life, for the preservation of body, and for the preservation of family and friends.
