http://barkriverknives.com/albums/2/spindevil.thumb.gif
In place of the Bark River Logo on the dress side of the blade.
It will not be in Red--I can't do it in anything but Black.
The Bark River Logo will go on the Back of the Blade.

How cool would it be if you can request any knife in the BRK&T lineup dressed up as a forum knife for those of us not to fond of the Krait blade style? :jdwink2: :madaddy:

Mike, if you can build the handle from red-black G10 instead of Micarta, put me in for one. I'll do the handle taper on mine, dress it in black plastic and keep it "handy."
A knife like that is used for hunting orcs in a small tunnel, also useful for pruning plants, gutting sheep, cutting wrapping paper at Christmas, serving cheese at a formal garden party and other sundry knife affairs.
Now how about a red/ black Mini North Star to compliment it!

I'm looking forward to seeing it at the next meeting. Cool knife Mike.

I put it down to lazy NJKCA members not wanting to go a bit out of their way to pick up a fellow Devil.
I'm sure Ron will take blurry photos of it for those that cannot make it to see.

Maybe we can take up a collection for a bus ticket or some type of raffle so we can get you down to beautiful New Jersey for a meeting.

OK, I think I am going to add a poll to this thread. It seemed more people preferred the straight style blade, but you never know!
should I start a new thread and get some better pics?
I want to thank Mike and the BRK&T crew for making this possible so far!:devilzide

I like them both, but I do lean more towards the more tradional profile. Either is WAY cool. Both need the lanyard whole ::):
Parker

Straighter blade more better. Lanyard hole in handle, not a loop coming off the back.
Hollow pins.
Red/ black G10?
Mmmmmm, Jerzee........

C'mon - six days and no news? We in the midwest are crapping our pants in anticipation.....

Parker, we are *___* this close!;)
Mike Stewart
06-26-2006, 08:30 PM
From the poll--It seems we want the handle from the Hook shaped one and the Blade from the other.
We want inboard Lanyard Hole.
I will build it tomorrow.
Now-----------The Red & Black G-10 that I can get is kind of a dull Red.
That is why I used the Black & Red Micarta.
I'll post of picture of both and we can take it from there..
Once we are sure of the details--I'll do these very quickly.
I'll fit a couple in each day with our Regular Production Schedule.

Okay, where'd the pic of the two knives go......it's LATE in my day, but I cannot believe I can't find it.....
G10 more better sticky less bleeding from sliding onto blade....dull red less po-po attention.....
*__* close, eh?
EDIT - RON (I am so off the game today) just reminded me of where the two can be seen SxS so.....
