Thanks to all the "well wishers". Pumpkin, I am sure I will feel just fine in the morning if I live that long. Dry as a powder house for 21 years. I feel I must share the events of this fine day:
I slept late this morning. Laid in the bed until 5:00 am just like a rich widow's dog
I got up and got in the shop by 6:00 and got to work
The wife and I went to church about 8:30
Back in the shop by 11:00
Put in my order for my birthday dinner: Fried venison steak, creamy boiled potatos with milk and butter, purple hull peas, (with hot pepper sauce), green beans, corn bread and iced tea (I just drink iced water though) Then my 6 year old grand daughter helped make a chocalate cake with chocalate icing.
Watched the Manning bros. play ball and watched my team the Saints get beat like a drum.
Then all the other grandkids in North Carolina called and kept me on the phone for an hour.
Back to the shop for more work.
Now its about 7:00 pm and I am going back to try some more deer steak then some Blue Bell Homemade Vanilla with that cake.
Pretty "Rich" for pore folks I'd say.
Your may be right after all Pumpkin. In the morning may not be a pretty site after all.
And a good day to all.

59 but I feel about 79 most days. There was a time when I did not take extremely good care of myself. Now that I have cut my work time back to about 60 hours a week I should start to improve.
Only works 60 hours a week. Does this guy know how to relax or what? :gogdog:

Old habits are hard to break. I have my alarm set for 4:30 but most days I am up before it goes off. get some coffee and a shower then off to the shop by 6:00. Take an hour off for lunch and a ten minute nap then back to the shop until 6:00 or 6:30. This is usually 7 days a week except for little jaunts here, there and yonder. The hell of it is, I used to get more knives made when I had a full time job 30 miles from home. Then I still got in 30 to 40 hours in the shop. I still manage to get to bed by 10:00pm. What we need is longer days.
If only a fella didn't need to sleep, eh? Mind you it would only work if you were the only one who could do without, and you wouldn't want your boss to know.
