So you just download all 8 parts, use winrar to change them into AVI files, then burn them to disc?? I am intrested in trying to get this one for the kids but am new to this as I have enough movies for me and the wife I haven't watched yet to mess with it Thanks

It's actually pretty simple, download the 8 files and after they are downloaded double click on the first file ( ending in .001 or .rar )

This will extract the movie and it will end in .AVI - After this is done you have a few options. If you have a DVD burner you can burn it strait to DVD, if not you will need to convert it to SVCD. There are a bunch of programs out there to do this and if you don't have one let me know and I can hook you up. SVCD is a format that allows movies to be burned to any run of the mill CD-R and played on most DVD players..

Here is a question. Can I download part one from one place and then part two from another mirror?? I did so and the files are labelled differently. Will that effect things when I got to convert to one AVI file?

Well it depends on how your burning it, if you have a DVD burner then it needs to be downloaded all in one file. You cannot download 2 parts from 2 different mirrors unless you plan on joining them togeather which is more work then you really want to do.

If you plan on burning it to SVCD then it WILL need to be split into two parts because the file will be too big to fit on one regular CD-R. As far as the parts being labeled differently it doesn't really matter, there is only one copy of this movie floating around it has just been uploaded/split/converted by a handful of people. The quality will still be the same no matter where it was downloaded from.

If all else fails then you can call me and I will walk you through it. I will be home tonight after 8pm.

OK, I need help.

I downloaded all of this and got it in one AVI file. I burned it onto DVD and it wouldn't play in that format. SO... I downloaded AVI2VCD and it FUCKING takes DAYS... to encode. Is there a better way to convert to VCD??

Converting to VCD/SVCD takes a while, but not days. At most it should only take 2-3 hours, and yes I have a program that should speed things up for you. I will be home in about 2 hours, will PM you then.
